Achievements

Dan aspired to be the best in everything and also succeeded. He was ambitious, and a perfectionist and almost blindly devoted himself to the goals he set for himself. An account of Dan his friend Basso Ratnam: "Dan aspired to a career on Wall Street and knew he wanted to work in the most prestigious bank and the most competitive group there is. Not afraid to say he goes for the best -  And that is exactly what he received. "

Michael Stark , Dan's coach at Binghamton College: "On the pitch, Dan's influence was even greater. Our No. 1 player then moved to Columbia University and as Dan said, 'Coach, I have wide shoulders, I'll fill his shoes. I had many formative moments with Dan.  We talked quite a bit about the dynamics in the team and he often invited me to his apartment especially after games against "Cornell". I told the team then that we were going to lose to them 0-7 - and that is exactly what happened. I was not happy then with our preparations for the game against them and they were just better. Dan asked me never to say again that we were going to lose to someone.  "It's bad for the mood," he told me. "It destroys all hope," he added. I promised him not to do it anymore and in return I asked him to help me with his teammates.
Dan was a star. Literally. He played No. 1 in singles and doubles throughout his stay with us. He led the team like no one had done before and played with heart and soul that were greater than his abilities, and these were quite a few. Dan's accomplishments led him to become without a doubt the best player I've ever had. "

Harel Srugo , Dan Dan's friend: "In general, Dan was" the best "in everything he touched. Extreme sometimes. Before any feature of it one can insert the word "best".
