Family
Under the "tough" patronage of the outstanding athlete, the brave warrior and the cold-blooded broker, hid the real Dan. A beloved and beloved young man, an exemplary father to his children and a supportive, devoted and unconditionally loving partner to Sasha, his other half.
Dan's being an exemplary spouse and father did not surprise anyone close to him. He fights for his love for Sasha and the dream of marrying her and building a family with her. Like anything that did not come to a person in his life easily, when he eventually got Sasha and built a family with her and brought with her Omri and Mika, he knew how to appreciate, preserve and zealously cultivate what for him was a dream come true.
The family with Dan was not only expressed in a relationship with Sasha and starting a family of his own. The seed for love and family as a supreme value was sown by his parents as a child, when they were wrapped in love. This is what Dan knew, grew up on and wanted to pass on.
Tales about the family value of Dan from his first coach Elisha Haim, and his friends Tomer Ablagon, Gilad Blum and Basso Ratnam, friends at a college in the United States:
Elisha Haim : "Dan's family was and still is a warm family and not just for me. Many children who used to come to training or competitions in the center of Ramat Hasharon from Ashkelon and other distant places, knew they had a place to sleep. Oren Ben Zaken, Rafi Zedekiah and other children "Their hospitality has become a household name among young tennis players."
Tomer Ablagon : "Dan was a great athlete, careerist and ambitious in every way, but above all an exemplary family man and a wonderful father. It was a pleasure to see Dan soften from his tough appearance every time he was with his children and hear him speak with such great love and pride about Sasha, Omri and Mika. "
Gilad Blum : "In his third incarnation as a family man, Dan puts all the fathers in the shade. He was the most investing father there is. "
Basso Ratnam , Dan's best friend at Brown University: "When Sasha and Dan got engaged in 2008, I felt a special honor to be part of a very small group of people invited to the engagement party. I was still in college and Dan surprised me when asked in the middle of dinner I started my blessing then and said I felt too young and inexperienced to talk about their love. Nine years later, I still feel the same. Dan had a tremendous love for Sasha. A love beyond all time, geographical location or logic. This is the love about which stories are written and about "Men go to war. It is a love that is so strong in the present and has given birth to two angels: Omri and Mika."
